Overall Review: If you're using this desktop in an HTPC configuration - check the range, it's everything. Would like the ability to be able to use the mouse on every surface, but that's not too big of a deal. Control panel could use a bit of tweaking - especially since some areas of the mouse control are way more sensitive than others. Programming the use of the front and back buttons is a bit of a pain. It also is capable of long ranges without the use of an extended dongle or adapter which most competitors use, I searched high and low for a set that didn't require that, and Microsoft wins easily in this aspect of it.Ĭons: Mouse scroll wheel is extremely sensitive - especially noticeable in applications like AutoCAD and Google Maps where you have to use the wheel to scroll in and out.
